Honest answer: not today — but we're working on it. You'll see other tools claim to offer this: virtually stage multiple photos of the same room with the same sofa, the same decor, the same lighting across every angle. In our testing, they don't reliably deliver on the promise. We've built and tested a working version internally — most recently a deep round in July 2026 covering 16 different technical approaches on real listing photos. Two findings shape where we are now: It's expensive. Costs have come down a lot — from around $3 per generated image in our first test to roughly $0.26–$1.25 per matched angle today — but that's still several times what standard staging costs to run. It's not reliable enough yet. Results now come out OK about 60% of the time and genuinely well about 20% of the time. The furniture usually looks right; the remaining problem is the AI rearranging pieces to face the new camera instead of keeping them where you approved them. We've published the full breakdown — every approach we tried, real success and failure examples, and the actual costs — in our multi-angle staging progress report. Rather than ship something at premium prices that still misses too often, we're holding off until the underlying models close the last gap. Once an account has been successfully cancelled, it will not be charged again. How do I stop my descriptions from all sounding the same?

When you generate a description, ListingAI automatically reviews your most recent listing descriptions and deliberately avoids reusing their opening lines, signature phrases, and paragraph structure. This is designed so that all your listings don't end up sounding the same — a common problem with AI writing (for example, every description opening with "Step into..."). You can control how far back it looks under Branding → Writing Preferences → Variety: a slider from 0 to 10 sets how many past descriptions are reviewed. The default is 10, and each branding profile has its own setting. Setting it to 0 turns the feature off entirely — useful if you prefer a consistent template style across listings. Listings that aren't associated with a branding profile use the default of 10.

How do Fair Housing compliance rules work?

ListingAI scans every description for wording that could create Fair Housing risk — phrases like "walking distance," "perfect for young families," or "exclusive neighborhood" — and suggests compliant alternatives. Every flag has a clear category (ability wording, family references, steering & exclusivity, and about ten more), and you can review each one: keep your wording or apply the suggested fix. To stop reviewing the same kind of flag over and over, set a standing rule: tick "Always apply this action" while reviewing any flag, or manage every category under Branding → Compliance with a three-way choice — Ask me, Always fix, or Always ignore. There's also a one-click Auto-fix everything option for zero interruptions. Rules live on your branding profiles, so different agents using one account each get their own preferences. Does the API cost extra? How are credits charged?

The API itself costs nothing extra — it draws from the same credit balances as the app: The first asset generated for a listing uses 1 listing credit (same as the app). Cinematic AI Motion uses 1 Cinematic Scene Credit per scene; Standard Motion scenes are free. AI descriptions don't use extra credits beyond the listing credit. If a generation fails, credits are refunded automatically. The API will never spend more than your balance — requests that can't be covered (including credits committed to videos still generating) are refused up front with a clear error, and you can check balances any time with GET /account.

Can API-generated videos use my branding?

Yes. Listings created through the API automatically use your primary branding — colours, logo, headshot, fonts, and contact details all flow onto videos and their branded opening/closing scenes, using the same designs as the app's video editor. You can also create and update branding profiles entirely through the API (one per agent, if you're a team), including uploading logos and headshots. Branding changes apply automatically from the next generation — nothing to re-link.

Do listings and videos created via the API show up in my account?

Yes — there's one account, not a separate API world. Listings created via the API appear in your listing history, their videos and descriptions are attached just like app-generated ones, and you can open them in the app to edit or regenerate. Settings set through the API (scene templates, captions, text overrides) show up in the video editor exactly as configured.

Are there API rate limits?

Yes: 120 requests per minute per API key. Exceeding it returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header telling you when to retry. Separately, each listing generates one asset of each type at a time — requesting a second video while one is still generating returns a 409 with the in-flight asset's id so you can poll it instead. Generating across many listings in parallel is fine.

Does the API support webhooks?

Generation is asynchronous: you request an asset, get an id back immediately, and poll its status endpoint until it's completed (we suggest every 10 seconds — videos typically take 2–6 minutes, descriptions under a minute). The completed response includes the final video URL or description text. Webhooks are on the roadmap; the polling response shape is designed so they can be added without breaking existing integrations.

How should I keep my API key secure?

Treat an API key like a password — anyone holding it can use your account's credits. Best practices: Store it server-side; never embed it in websites, apps, or client-side code. Add an IP restriction to the key so it only works from your servers. Create separate keys per integration so you can revoke one without breaking the others. Keys are shown exactly once at creation and stored hashed — we can't read them back. If a key leaks, revoke it instantly in Settings → API Keys and create a new one.
