Does the API cost extra? How are credits charged?

The API itself costs nothing extra — it draws from the same credit balances as the app:

• The first asset generated for a listing uses 1 listing credit (same as the app).
• Videos use 1 video credit per full-AI scene; "lite" pan & zoom scenes are free.
• AI descriptions don't use extra credits beyond the listing credit.
• If a generation fails, credits are refunded automatically.

The API will never spend more than your balance — requests that can't be covered (including credits committed to videos still generating) are refused up front with a clear error, and you can check balances any time with GET /account.
